I like everything about them. I needed a way to store extra thread and this is exactly what they do and do so very efficiently. I use a sharpie to write the thread number on the bag and hang them on several rings in numerical order. I cut the thread and easily pull out one thread at a time. Have used them for years and these are the best. When I have a new project I can pull out all that is needed for the project and put on smaller ring. When finished the bags all go back on large ring. I keep all the different fibers in bags and each fiber is on their on ring. I keep all in big basket so easy to reach in and get the fibers I need. I love my floss away bags!!I have been using these for my cross stitch projects for years and find them very practical because the number of pouches is flexible according to the project and the pouches make a compact and neat pack to work with using the ring provided. Better than the boxes.I was really excited for these because I'm tired of taking ALL of my thread out when I need one color.The idea of plastic bags is great. In a less clean way, you can do the same thing with ziploc snack bags. I particularly liked these because the were hole punched and came with a binder ring.Unfortunately mine did not come with a binder ring. The package I received had previously been opened and taped over with dirty, yellowed tape. I didn't count how many bags I actually received bc it's not worth my time, but not receiving a new product when I paid for one feels really dirty.I don't want to hurt the product itself so I am leaving a 3 star review.I've tried many different ways to store floss for cross-stitch ( cards with holes, bobbins) and this is clearly the easiest and most useful. I keep a master ring of all my floss colors in numerical order and when I have a project I see what colors I already have so I'm not duplicating purchases. Then I can organize the colors needed for my latest project on a separate ring. Once project finished, any envelopes with remaining floss go back on master ring ( actually empty envelopes go back on the master ring, too, to be later refilled if needed). It's so easy to get floss in and out while working a project and I find that I definitely waste less floss because I can keep short pieces in the envelope for small areas or a missed stitch.Love these for my floss.
