I have not heard of this gel pad until a physiotherapist provided me with a sample. Unlike other gel pad, this one would not shift over time and help to prevent bed sore while lying down on a bed or sitting in a chair. The gel pad does not smell like roses but you will get used to it very quickly and it does subside over time. Due to the weight of the gel pad, the shipper has stacked other heavy objects on top of the package. The packaging is my only complaint. Please include bubble wrap or proper divider in the packaging to help to protect the gel pad while in shipment.
