This is the 11th Bandai Tamashii Nations S. H. MonsterArts Godzilla figure I've purchased. This figure is tied with Burning Godzilla (my first Bandai purchase) as my number one favorite of all the figures I own. It's tied because the two are just about identical. The big difference between them is the color scheme (obviously) and the improvements they made on this figure's ball joints. This Godzilla's joints are very flexible. He can bend at the waist a lot better than Burning Godzilla. And his legs and arms move a lot better too. Burning Godzilla has been criticized for having a gap where the leg joints meet the waist; you could see right through the figure. Bandai fixed that gap on this figure. This figure is beautifully painted and sculpted. This figure also comes with his atomic breath beam (red), which is a HUGE plus with me. I believe every Bandai figure should always come with an effect piece for whatever attack that figure is known for. It just adds so much to the figure. The only thing I wish this figure had come with was a second atomic breath beam that was blue. The Heisei Godzilla was known for having two atomic breath beams. The classic blue beam as his normal breath attack and then the red beam as his super breath attack. I just wish this figure came with both. That said, this is still a great figure to have for any Godzilla fan. I consider it one of the best.Oh, and just a heads up with this figure. When I got mine it's tail joint was not completely attached to the body, and it popped right off when I took the figure out of the box. No worries. It's easy to place it right back on. Hasn't come off since. Same with the upper body joint connecting to the waist. First time I stretched his body back, the upper body came right off. Again, it's easy to reattach and it hasn't happened since. Wasn't sure if other buyers were experiencing this. But if this happens to you, don't freak out. He's not broken, his joints are just a little lose.
